Aleksa Avramovic moves from CSKA to Dubai after a brilliant season in Moscow

After an extraordinary season in the jersey of Moscow CSKA, Aleksa Avramović continues his career at a new, ambitious address - from next season he will play for the team from Dubai.

Avramovic dominated the VTB league in the 2024/25 season, playing a total of 56 matches with an average of 12.1 points, 3.3 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 stolen balls per game. His constancy and energy at both ends of the pitch have made him one of CSKA's key players in a season full of trophies.

The Moscow giant, with Avramovich's contribution, won the VTB League, as well as the Super Cup, in which it was Alex who took the title of MVP of the competition. Additional recognition came in the form of Player of the Month awards, both in September and October, confirming Alex's outstanding form.

Recall, Aleksa arrived at CSKA after three seasons in Partizan, where he also left a deep mark. His move to Dubai represents not only a personal step forward, but also part of the wider sporting ambition of the region to position itself as a new gathering point for top European (and world) basketball talent.

For Avramovic, this is an opportunity to assert his class in a completely new environment and contribute to the growth and development of the Dubai team - and there is no doubt that he will play one of the main roles there too.
